Spain Day 3

The guys are going strong in Barcelona.

“Today we took a trip down to Sitges, a beach front city southwest of where we are staying in Barcelona. After two competitive games of beach volleyball that Max Jacobs, Noah Karras and I dominated, some guys rented a paddle boat with a slide attached, as the whole team tried to get on it at once. With the weather sunny and 85, just being around the Mediterranean Sea with these guys was possibly the greatest vibes of all time.

After shopping for a little bit, we returned to the Mediterranean water which was incredibly hard to leave, despite the architecture of Spain being breathtaking so far. I never realized how new the US really is compared to the rest of the world, just from an aesthetic standpoint; Barcelona and Sitges were a perfect compliment to each other.

When it was time for dinner, we headed down the street to a restaurant in which we thought we were in for a traditional meal, but we’re surprised when we saw a bunch of raw ingredients laid out on tables. We cooked our own meal with the help of three chefs, as each class prepared something different. It was great to see everyone’s culinary skills (and who really lacked as well). That capped off a tremendous day filled with sun and Mediterranean water, making it the best day in Spain so far.

I can’t wait to see what Seville and Madrid have to offer.”
