Another senior is graduating this month…
Steinberg started his time with the Maroons in 2012. As a freshman, he saw time in 17 contests and averaged 3.1 points and 1.1 rebounds per game. He also made 43.3 percent of his three-point shots.
Unfortunately, the 6-4 guard missed his senior season due to injury.
However, over his career, Steinberg averaged 2.9 points and 1.3 rebounds a matchup. He played in 59 games and scored a season-high 12 points in both 2013-14 and 2014-15.
Having majored in economics, Steinberg is preparing to go into Investment Banking.
“My summer plans include traveling to Europe and beginning training for my jobs. I will be pursuing Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.”
But of course like the rest of his teammates, he will miss the culture of both the university, and the men’s basketball program.
“I’m looking forward to life after graduation, but I will miss being around the guys as often as I am, and being around such educated individuals on a daily basis.”
