Time to send off the last senior…
Robinson became a part of the team in 2012, as a freshman. His first year with the Maroons, he averaged 1.1 points and 0.9 rebounds a matchup, while seeing time in 13 games.
As a senior, the 6-foot-8 forward played in 16 games, averaging 1.2 points and 0.9 rebounds per contest. He scored a season-best 7 points and 3 rebounds, as well as recorded a 6 point, 2 assist and 2 steal-game.
Over his four years at UChicago, Robinson averaged 1.7 points and 1.2 rebounds per game. He played in 62 games total, with one start.
Although clearly passionate about basketball, Robinson was also very seriously pursuing his pre-medical dreams. And that work paid off.
“Coming up this summer, I’ll be doing some consulting for Clarity Solution Group, where I’m going to be working next year. Additionally, I plan on going to medical school in order to become a surgeon.”
“I’m definitely looking forward to my family coming up for the first time. But I’ll miss seeing my teammates everyday from both a basketball standpoint, and in general. I made some really good friendships here.”
